Our 100% fluorocarbon fishing line is a kind of monofilament line that has distinct properties . It is composed of a polymer--a synthetic in which smaller molecules bond to form larger ones through a chemical process. It is better able to maintain its strength since it has what is called a closed cellular composition. It is waterproof, that means water does not absorb into the line the way it does into normal monofilament, so differ from convetional rule that wet line is weaker than a dry one by as much as 15%, fluorocarbon line’s wet test exactly the same as dry test.

  Since the refractive index of fluorocarbon line is nearly the same as that of water, the line is for all intents and purposes invisible in water, making it attractive to anglers.
